1) is the chemical smell that people are noticing from the chemicals Holmes uses to murder women? 2) why does the author list off all these new inventions (example: juicy fruit, pancakes, cereal, etc) 3) the beginning of ch29 is very descriptive, and it helps me understand what a person might experience while they're at the fair. 4) when Holmes took Annie to the fair and showed her the slaughtering pigs, is that going to be the way Holmes murders her? 5) why hasn't anybody said anything about how all the people that have been disappearing have been connected to Holmes in some way? 6) I don't understand Prendergast's importance to the story.

Why does the prendergast guy keep coming into the story? And does he have some kind of mental disorder?

when anna and Minnie go into one of the buildings they describe their breath as being blue and floating..I thought that was cool.
I think something might happen with Pitezels son and his toy, otherwise why would they bring him up?
Ulmsted is so worried about his landscapes, but he still leaves Ulrich there. Why?

3. Why is the Ferris wheel such a big deal?
4. What is at the world's fair to see? Random buildings?
5. Holmes' mindset when he kills is extremely disturbing. The way he describes the feeling of power over his victims..
1. Holmes is seriously mental. He gets a high from killing them and has to have that high constantly.

4. Olmstead is so cranky, even with the great success of the fair, he finds something wrong with everything Burnham has accomplished
5. I feel like the amount of crime that is happening at the fair is high, but they act like it is only a little bit.
