Read from page 337 to 390

  1. 1. I was honestly happy that the entire part 4 was about Holmes
    2. I thought it was very disturbing that Holmes had no fear when Geyer was searching the country for evidence of Holmes' murders
    3. How did Holmes ever get those children in the trunk in the first place? (to kill them)
    4. How was Holmes so careless as to get caught for an insurance crime when he has been committing murders for years?
    5. I was very satisfied with the end because it nicely concluded the book and related the fair and all the characters together.

  2. What does Holmes want with the children?
I'm a little confused on how this part is being told. Are there flashbacks?
What did the other children mean by "Howard is not with us anymore"?
How could Holmes be so emotionless to kill children?
I this this was a good book. The only parts I didn't like where the ones that weren't about Holmes; they were the interesting chapters.

  3. 1)Why is Holmes moving on to children now?
2)I think that my favorite portion of the book were the parts about Holmes and all of part four
3)Wouldn't Holmes know that involving attorneys would get him into trouble?
    4)Did Holmes kill Howard?
5)Why would he take care of them if he was going to kill them or hurt them?

  4. 1) I think that Holmes is finally getting scared about the choices he's making, as he flees the room when the insurance people question him
2)I think that he is still dumb though, because he refuses to stop despite the consequences.
    3) Holmes' obsession with women was creepy enough, but he really stepped it up when he killed the children.
    4) I would like to know more about but ham after the fair, even though I would rather read about Holmes
    5) Did Holmes just think he was about to break the law and nobody would care, even if they went looking?
